Christian libraries for children who are orphans.

A unique opportunity to supply the orphanages in Ukraine with Christian libraries.
Imagine- thousands of orphans reading edifying Christian books!

We have already done this at one orphanage and would like to do this for 50 more orphanages in Ukraine.

How we can do this:

The Agape mission is buying 150 Christian books for one orphanage, where a Bible teacher of the Mission works. Christian books are chosen for children of different ages. Every book is chosen for the purpose to strengthen their faith, to show them in practice how to apply faith in their lives, and how God helps people in different situations of life. Amongst the books are the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the appropriate age level, the story of Creation in illustrations, the story of the life of different people that depended on God. (see titles of some of the books below)

The Christian libraries will be managed by the teachers of the Agape mission (in each of these 50 Ukrainian orphanages there is a Bible teacher working there from Agape).

How this impacts the orphans:

We believe, that these books will help the children to be strengthened in the faith and to know God, His character, and love. This is a unique and wonderful opportunity to edify the children in faith! Having access to a Christian library the children can always read Christian books and can build up their worldview through them. We believe that by reading these books the hearts of the children will change and their future will change.

The response of the children:

“A big thank you for the books, that you bring. I am very happy, when a new book gets into my hands. With every day I know more and more. In these books I was able to answer a lot of whys. I will need these in my life ahead of me. These books have taught me a great deal. I have faith that I will have the opportunity to read many more of these books”. (Margarita, Orphanage in the Suma region).

We believe that by reading these books the hearts of the children will change and their future will change.

How you can participate:

Doing this for one orphanage we received a strong desire to supply all 50 orphanages with a Christian library that we have access to. The cost for one library is $300 - $400 (about 100 -150 books). Each of orphans can freely take and read books from the Christian library.

God has opened the doors of the orphanages of Ukraine for the mission of Agape and this is a wonderful opportunity to shine the Word of God into the hearts of orphans.

If you would like to participate in this work, please, send your donations, with “for the library” in the transfer purpose of your offering(s).

100% of your donation(s) will go to purchase Christian books for the children- who are orphans. You will receive report of the books purchased.
